Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain the ability to read and understand an article in the field of Psychology, to write a summary and to understand a study in English in a seminar.

LO-1 Knows the basic English terms used in measurement, research and statistics in psychology. PO-
LO-2 Knows the terms of psychology course texts. PO-
LO-3 Indicates the English equivalents of the basic terms encountered in Turkish psychology lessons. PO-

Course Contents
The Professional English I course aims to improve the skills of reading and understanding reading passages (articles and articles on selected topics in psychology) in which basic professional terms occur. In addition, writing sentences and paragraphs with basic professional terms are also included in the course. Critical analysis of reading texts, listening and note taking, classroom discussions, presentations will be covered in the course.
