Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to introduce the concept of culture and to gain knowledge and skills to understand the differences between individualist and collectivist culture. In line with the intercultural and cultural psychology literature, the importance of evaluating behavior in the context of culture will be explained.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 learn how psychology plays a role in cultural and intercultural contexts PO-1 Knows the basic concepts related to psychology.
PO-3 Identifies, models and solves scientific problems in psychology and related fields.
PO-9 Has awareness of individual and cultural differences that can incorporate different perspectives into the process of producing scientific knowledge.
Examination
LO-2 have a command of the cultural and intercultural psychology literature. PO-1 Knows the basic concepts related to psychology.
PO-2 Adapts and transfers the knowledge they have acquired in the field of psychology to other disciplines
PO-6 Interprets and evaluates data using advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the field, identifies and analyzes problems parallel to current technological developments, and develops solutions based on research and evidence.

Course Contents
In this course, it is aimed to create a theoretical and practical understanding of multicultural and multifactorial structure. It is planned to focus on individual differences, multifactorial and multicultural structures, identity development models, assessment procedures and both cultural and universal values. A broad understanding of diversity such as culture, religion, socioeconomic status, disability will be used.
