Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to enable students to use the basic concepts of epistemology, to distinguish the main trends in epistemology and philosophy of science, and to discuss the basic problems related to the structure of knowledge and science.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Compares different currents in epistemology and philosophy of science. PO-1 Understands, analyzes and interprets the basic concepts of management and organization field at the expert level and can apply them at the expert level in the field of management and organization.
PO-6 As a good researcher and academician candidate, the student learns to look critically at new topics, new developments in the field of business administration and other related issues, and develops his/her questioning and exploratory aspects.
Examination
LO-2 Illustrate the features and stages of the scientific method. PO-2 Learns different perspectives on many theories, models and paradigms developed in the field of management and organization, gains the knowledge and skills to evaluate, interpret and criticize scientific studies and research presented in various scientific meetings on these topics.
PO-4 Approaches new information in the field of management and organization systematically and gains high level skills in research methods related to the field.
Examination
LO-3 Evaluates science conceptually, historically and critically. PO-2 Learns different perspectives on many theories, models and paradigms developed in the field of management and organization, gains the knowledge and skills to evaluate, interpret and criticize scientific studies and research presented in various scientific meetings on these topics.
