Objectives of the Course | |||||
To gain the necessary knowledge and skills about the characteristics of microorganisms in the teeth, gingiva and oral cavity, the infections they cause and their treatments. |

LO-1 | can recognize between members of the oral flora and pathogenic microorganisms. |
PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills. PO-3 She/he can work in interdisciplinary teams in various branches of dentistry and other medical fields and seeks the opinion or treatment of the necessary specialist for medical and dental treatments beyond her ability. PO-14 With the awareness of being a physician, it carries out initiatives and practices that prioritize the general health of the society and individuals it serves, including itself, and improve their health status, raise awareness and guide the patient on these issues, apart from dental treatments. PO-15 It is sufficient to raise the oral health of groups, families and individuals in the society to a high level. |
