Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to develop students' knowledge about the structure of financial markets and the properties of securities traded in these markets such as bonds, stocks and derivatives. In addition, to introduce students to the basic principles of portfolio theory, asset pricing equilibrium, and determination of the value of financial assets. It is aimed to provide students with the skills of establishing a relationship between economics and finance, understanding the analysis of the functioning of financial markets using economic analysis tools, and relating financial markets to the economic system. |
