Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to develop students' knowledge about the structure of financial markets and the properties of securities traded in these markets such as bonds, stocks and derivatives. In addition, to introduce students to the basic principles of portfolio theory, asset pricing equilibrium, and determination of the value of financial assets. It is aimed to provide students with the skills of establishing a relationship between economics and finance, understanding the analysis of the functioning of financial markets using economic analysis tools, and relating financial markets to the economic system.

LO-1 Can analyze the financial system and its functioning. PO-4 Improve strategic approach and the notions of using public fundings effectively and efficiently and have the skill of quantitative and statistical searching and the skill of thinking.
PO-7 Analytical thinking, especially in information technology management can use modern methods and technologies.
PO-9 The decision making problems in real life students, Modelling using linear programming techniques, using the simplex and transportation to solve problems and gain skills to interpret the results obtained provide the technical and economical aspects.
