| Objectives of the Course | |||||
| To teach methods of preventing caries, amalgam and composite restorations, deep dentin caries treatments, indirect restorations (inlay/onlay, laminate veneer), restoration of teeth with root canal treatment and excessive substance loss, bleaching treatments, rubber-dam application and patient-doctor communication in adult patients. | |||||

| LO-1 | Will be able to comprehend the rules of working in the clinic, the approach to the patient and the rules of working on the patient. |
PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills. PO-5 As a 'Dentist' who has the ability to work individually, he/she makes decisions regarding treatment by using the relevant diagnostic methods, can take initiative, and expresses his/her professional ideas verbally or in writing, clearly and concisely. |

PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-6 She/he uses all kinds of tools to ensure the oral and dental health required by the dentistry profession and has sufficient knowledge about the materials used in dentistry clinics. PO-7 He/she develops and implements effective strategies to prevent dental and medical emergencies that he/she may encounter in his/her office and is sufficient to determine the attitude to be applied for treatment in case of these emergencies. |

PO-13 It performs preventive dentistry practices in the clinic, as well as participates in community-oriented oral and dental health programs and projects to be planned at local or national level, and when necessary, it acquires adequate equipment and supervises or manages it. |
