Objectives of the Course
To teach the basic surgical principles in dentistry, normal and surgical tooth extraction and related complications and treatments.

Course Contents
Anamnesis, pre-extraction preparation, asepsis-antisepsis concepts, wound and wound healing, treatment approaches in systemic diseases, indications and contraindications for tooth extraction, possible complications and treatments that may occur during and after tooth extraction, suture materials and methods.
