Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge and skills to learn sterilization, antisepsis and disinfection protocols in dentistry and to provide cross infection control.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain asepsis and antisepsis. PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills.
PO-3 She/he can work in interdisciplinary teams in various branches of dentistry and other medical fields and seeks the opinion or treatment of the necessary specialist for medical and dental treatments beyond her ability.
PO-14 With the awareness of being a physician, it carries out initiatives and practices that prioritize the general health of the society and individuals it serves, including itself, and improve their health status, raise awareness and guide the patient on these issues, apart from dental treatments.
Examination
LO-2 can explain the distinction between sterilization and disinfection. PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life.
PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills.
