Objectives of the Course | |||||
It is to provide information about the pathogenesis, structure, transmission and prevention methods of hepatitis agents, which are of great importance in dentistry. |

LO-1 | can distinguish viral hepatitis, explain the ways of transmission and prevention. |
PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills. PO-3 She/he can work in interdisciplinary teams in various branches of dentistry and other medical fields and seeks the opinion or treatment of the necessary specialist for medical and dental treatments beyond her ability. PO-13 It performs preventive dentistry practices in the clinic, as well as participates in community-oriented oral and dental health programs and projects to be planned at local or national level, and when necessary, it acquires adequate equipment and supervises or manages it. |
