Objectives of the Course | |||||
In this course, it is aimed to describe the virus, to determine its structural and infectivity characteristics, to explain the developmental patterns of viral infections in the organism and the techniques used in the diagnosis of viral etiology in infections. |

PO-1 As a dentist, she/he has the basic knowledge of clinical and social sciences required by her profession and uses them throughout her/his life. PO-2 She/he applies the basic medical and science knowledge she has learned in both clinical and laboratory studies and has problem solving skills. PO-3 She/he can work in interdisciplinary teams in various branches of dentistry and other medical fields and seeks the opinion or treatment of the necessary specialist for medical and dental treatments beyond her ability. |

PO-13 It performs preventive dentistry practices in the clinic, as well as participates in community-oriented oral and dental health programs and projects to be planned at local or national level, and when necessary, it acquires adequate equipment and supervises or manages it. PO-15 It is sufficient to raise the oral health of groups, families and individuals in the society to a high level. |
