Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to reveal the effects of the environment on health, to discuss the environmental problems caused by population growth and development, to teach and evaluate the safety measures related to employee health. With this course, it is aimed to raise awareness of students about environmental protection.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can make the Historical Development of the Environment and Definitions of the Environment. PO-12 Recognizes and uses the scientific knowledge.

LO-2 Defines general statements about Natural Resources. PO-7 Prepares and uses institutionally determined dietary protocols.

LO-3 Can list the protection measures. PO-14 Contributes to social projects planned with community awareness based on professional skills and responsibilities of authorities (takes place in briefings with farmers, theoretical and practical work etc.)

This course covers the subjects of environment and environmental science, natural resources, soil pollution, noise pollution, waste management and regulation, global climate change and biodiversity conservation studies.
