Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide the veterinary technicians with the necessary knowledge of the issues related to difficult births and birth assistance, care of the mother and the offspring after birth, and reproductive system diseases by giving basic information about childbirth.

Course Contents
This course covers anatomy of reproductive organs, reproductive physiology and endocrinology, puberty and sexual cycles, examination of female reproductive organs. To introduce the methods and instruments to be used in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, to give information about difficult births and help in childbirth; It includes information on instruments and materials used in obstetrics, anamnesis, general examination, anesthesia and medication, assistance attempts, care for mother and baby, postnatal examination, postnatal care of mother and baby.
