Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to give information about horse breeding, breeding and diseases.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows the situation of horse breeding in the world and in Turkey. PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features.
PO-11 Carries out all kinds of applications planned by the veterinarian.
PO-12 Recognizes and uses the scientific knowledge.
Examination
LO-2 Knows the morphological and physiological characteristics of the main horse breeds in the world and in Turkey. PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features.
PO-11 Carries out all kinds of applications planned by the veterinarian.
PO-12 Recognizes and uses the scientific knowledge.
Examination
LO-3 Knows the important diseases in horse breeding and the ways to prevent them. PO-1 Recognize animal species and breeds, structural and functional (anatomical, histological, physiological and biochemical, etc.) basic features.

This course covers horse breeding, domestication, use in breeding, frost, sighting, horse breeds and diseases.
