Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to make students aware of the business world, different sectors and the needs of these sectors, and to raise awareness of the importance of career planning in the preparation process for the business world. With this course, it is aimed to help students develop their knowledge and skills in parallel with the requirements of the relevant sectors by enabling them to discover their personal competencies and understand the expectations of the business world correctly.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 gaining awareness about their interests, personal characteristics and values, and making a career planning compatible with their future goals. PO-20 Defines the legislation about the field and follows the updated legislation.

LO-2 Developing students' decision-making skills for temporary and basic career planning PO-21 Comprehend structural properties of Turkish. The students communicate effectively using Turkish and improve the skills of researching, reading and getting informed.

Career stages: Knowing personal preferences Career trends in the world Career theories. Methods of preparing CV, cover letter and thank you letter. Expectations of the business world from new graduates (midterm exam) An impressive job interview Information about interview techniques Learning how to fill out a CV. Learning how to apply for jobs online and how to fill out job application forms on companies' websites. It covers the subjects of ensuring the participation of a professional visitor from the business world, transferring business meetings and establishing a home and work-life balance.
