Throughout this course, basic concepts of political theory such as people, sovereignty, hegemony, polarization, collective identity, representation, liberal democracy, authoritarianism, freedom, equality, early populist movements, classical populism in Latin America, neoliberal populism, Left populism, far right, neo-fascist populism and religious populism will be studied. | ||
