Objectives of the Course | |||||
This course aims to explain international refugee law, Turkey's foreign and asylum law, basic issues such as migrant and refugee policy of the state. |

LO-1 | 1. Become conversant in the key questions, theoretical approaches, and core concepts of immigration including, citizenship, borders, community, nation, identity, subjectivity, multiculturalism, asylum seeker, and refugee. |
PO-2 Has sufficient knowledge and awareness about globalization and intercultural communication, human rights, social justice and respect for differences. PO-4 Has a command of the basic concepts in the fields of history, sociology, economics and law at a level to do interdisciplinary work. PO-7 Has the ability to both interpret events with critical and analytical thinking and to produce solutions to problems with scientific approaches. |
