Objectives of the Course
To teach the basic information about the structures, functions and metabolisms of biomolecules that make up the structure of the human body and to train nurses who can use this theoretical knowledge in their professional life.

Course Contents
This course; Introduction to biochemistry, chemical composition of the human body, biochemical structure of cells and organelles, structures and biological functions of carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, proteins, porphyrins, enzymes, vitamins, nucleic acids, hormones, water and electrolytes, carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids, nucleic acids and It covers the subjects of metabolism of proteins.
