Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide the necessary knowledge and skills within the scope of social work to increase the patient's ability to cope with problems and psychosocial adaptation by examining the social conditions and psychosocial factors of the patient.

LO-1 can explain the role of the social worker as an educator towards patients and their relatives. PO-1 Explains the basics of social work as well as the framework and field of study of social work.
PO-3 Explains the relationship between the study areas of social work and application frameworks.

Examination
LO-2 Within the scope of psychosocial rehabilitation, they can perceive the psychosocial reactions of the patient against the disease and analyze the relationships that the patient has developed with his/her family and relatives. PO-3 Explains the relationship between the study areas of social work and application frameworks.
PO-9 As a social technician, they develop their competence in this field by taking responsibility in studies with individuals, groups and society.

Course Contents
The role and function of the social worker and social worker in rehabilitation services, comprehensive rehabilitation programs, and the professional staff working in the rehabilitation work include psychosocial rehabilitation in the elderly, psychiatric patients and disabled.
