Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to gain knowledge about basic medical terms related to health and illness.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 The students can express medical terms related to health. PO-3 The Person works individually and as a team member, using the basic knowledge she has in the Person Area
PO-6 Interprets and evaluates data by using the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field, defines and analyzes problems and takes part in studies planned for solution.
PO-9 Evaluates the basic level of knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach
Examination
LO-2 The students can understand the medical terms of the systems and evaluate the situation. PO-2 It acts in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the stages of collecting, interpreting, applying and announcing the results of the data related to the field.
PO-3 The Person works individually and as a team member, using the basic knowledge she has in the Person Area
PO-4 Gains the awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, following the developments in science and technology and constantly renewing itself.

This course includes the information on the main principles of terminology and main concepts of human anatomy, terminologies about symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of the diseases.
