Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to teach historical, cultural and sportive information about horsemanship & horseback riding theoretically.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the basic concepts of Equestrian and Equestrian. PO-1 Improves himself/herself in interdisciplinary fields that add value to personal change and development within the framework of interest, ability, social sensitivity and volunteering.

Basic concepts of horsemanship & horseback riding, horse in the history, horse in culture - art and literature, physical and psychological characteristics of horses, economic value of horse, production - breeding and care of horses, horse training, traditional and modern equestrian sports.
