Objectives of the Course
It is to gain the ability to apply and teach the basic techniques of basketball correctly and completely.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Explains the historical development of basketball and explains the basic concepts of basketball. PO-3 In the field of Sports Sciences, Coaching, Conditioning and Performance Analysis, it takes responsibility at the individual level and as a team, and takes initiative when necessary, to solve any problems or problems that may occur in the field.
PO-5 He/She has the competence to evaluate and apply the data obtained during her education in the field of Sports Sciences, Coaching, Conditioning and Performance Analysis in business life.
PO-9 Takes responsibility, individually and as a team member, to solve complex and unpredictable problems in the field of Sports Sciences.

It covers the structure of the Turkish Basketball Federation and the functioning of international organizations, basketball basic techniques, the teaching level of basketball basic techniques, basic defense and attack techniques.
