Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide information about the concepts of geological heritage and geotourism and examples from the world and our country.

Course Contents
Basic geological concepts (minerals, rocks, plate tectonics, volcanism), geological heritage, geosite, geopark and geotourism concepts, examples of geoparks from the world, the concept of geopark in our country and the only geopark Kula-Salihli geopark, examination of other geological heritages with geopark potential in Turkey
