Objectives of the Course
To provide students with information about the relationships between gene polymorphism and athletic performance in elite athletes, the physiological characteristics observed in elite athletes as a result of adaptation to training, and the effects of training practices in elite athletes.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 At the end of this course, the student will be able to explain the relationships between Genes and Performance. PO-1 He/She has an advanced level of basic conceptual knowledge in the fields of Sports Sciences, Coaching, Conditioning and Performance Analysis, taking into account the reflections in practice.
Examination
LO-2 Knows the characteristics of elite level athletes in team and individual sports. PO-2 Interprets and evaluates data using advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the fields of Sports Sciences, Coaching, Conditioning and Performance Analysis, defines and analyzes problems in parallel with current technological developments, and develops solutions based on research and evidence.
Examination
LO-3 She /He has an idea about the research done on elite athletes. PO-10 In the field of sports sciences, he/she develops the professional knowledge and skills of the people she works with and evaluates their performance.
