Objectives of the Course
After attending the Foreign Language I and Foreign Language II courses (both cover A1 level linguistic structures together), students will be able to know basic vocabulary, understand written/spoken statements, understand basic reading skills and strategies, and apply existing knowledge.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can speak and understand a spoken foreign language other than English PO-1 To be able to make interdisciplinary research within the field
PO-2 To be able to have basic and specialized knowledge about the language and history of the cultures taught
PO-4 To be able to think analiytically
PO-10 To be able to translate at least two languages and be able to read, understand, analyze and translate basic texts in a third language
PO-11 To have efficent elocation, diction and self expression skills for a sufficient use of language
PO-12 To easily be attuned to the current changes in the sector
PO-13 To have the abilities to orientate and transform the expectations of the sector
PO-14 To have a wide knowledge of terminologies of specific fields in both languages
PO-15 To be able to have knowledge of the terminology of various fields (Science, Social and Health Sciences etc.) and being able to use second foreign language and English both as a source and a target language

This course includes teaching basic English grammar along with the skills of reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension and speaking.
