Researching the social, economic and political structures of the determined regions in periods; Analysis of furniture in terms of function, meaning and form

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Having sufficient knowledge in the history of furniture design, being able to re-express designs when necessary. PO-1 Students have the skills to transfer and use their knowledge of art and design in the field of interior architecture.

LO-2 To be able to use the furniture that we call antique furniture, which is used in the history of furniture, in interior design projects. PO-1 Students have the skills to transfer and use their knowledge of art and design in the field of interior architecture.

Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Aesthetic Movements space and furniture styles; Bauhaus, Art Deco, Werkbund, De Stijl and other 20th century design and art movements and furniture styles; Transferring the history of Turkish furniture in the Republican period and after.
