Objectives of the Course

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic debates and trends in current financial markets and to provide them with the ability to critically evaluate international and local financial developments. This course aims to help students understand the macroeconomic factors, monetary policies, financial innovations and risk management strategies that affect financial decision-making processes. In addition, the effects of global economic integration and technological developments on financial markets will be examined in detail, students' financial literacy levels will be increased and their ability to produce solutions to complex financial problems will be improved. At the end of the course, students are expected to be competent individuals who can analyze current financial developments and make informed comments on these issues.
