Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of the course is to inform the student about the physiology of events that occur in the oral environment and tissue. |

PO-1 To explain sufficient knowledge about the biological events that occur in the oral environment in normal and pathological conditions. PO-2 Ability to integrate acquired knowledge with clinical departments PO-3 Having multidisciplinary approach skills in patient-centered practices PO-4 Creating projects on oral biology, conducting experiments and converting them into articles PO-5 To have the ability to apply general and verbal analytical methods PO-6 To have the ability to use the necessary techniques and modern medical tools for laboratory applications. PO-7 Ability to follow developments in oral biology, lifelong learning and self-renewal PO-8 The ability to be interested in current and medical issues, gain knowledge and contribute positively to these issues |

The content of this course is: Introduction to Physiology in the mouth, Blood and saliva physiology relationship I, Blood and saliva physiological relationship II, saliva composition physiology I, saliva composition physiology II, saliva composition physiology II, saliva varieties, oxidative stress physiology in saliva, hormone physiology in saliva, growth and diffusion factors, physiology of Oral tissue damage, hemostatic system physiology in Oral tissues, Collagen physiology, physiology of various diseases that are symptoms in the mouth, Oral tissue physiology. | ||
