Objectives of the Course
It aims to give basic information about the historical process of furniture design, furniture types and comparisons depending on different architectural and art movements.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 To be at a level to be able to re-express designs when necessary, having sufficient knowledge about the history and trends of furniture design from the 18th century to the present. PO-43 Learns the necessary information at a sufficient level in the history of furniture design.
PO-44 It helps to recognize and understand the works exhibited in auctions.
PO-45 It gives students the ability to express themselves in conversational settings about antique furniture.
PO-50 Gains general information about conservation and restoration.
PO-51 Have basic information about the historical process of furniture design, furniture types and comparisons that are formed depending on different architectural and art movements.
Examination
LO-2 It gives students the ability to express themselves in conversations about 18th century and later furniture. PO-43 Learns the necessary information at a sufficient level in the history of furniture design.
