Objectives of the Course
Developing piano playing skills, recognizing piano literature, playing works at various levels.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 He uses legato and staccato techniques on the piano. PO-4 Appropriate basic exercises based on instrument and sound; performs series, exercises, etudes and suitable works of various periods and techniques.
Practice Exam
LO-2 He plays the works suitable for his level on the piano. PO-4 Appropriate basic exercises based on instrument and sound; performs series, exercises, etudes and suitable works of various periods and techniques.

LO-3 Gains the necessary knowledge and skills to perform etudes suitable for the level, small-scale works from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods. PO-4 Appropriate basic exercises based on instrument and sound; performs series, exercises, etudes and suitable works of various periods and techniques.
PO-14 Examines the harmony rules in which polyphonic music repertoire is used from time to time and the works produced with these rules together with examples.

Course Contents
In addition to legato and staccato techniques, which are basic piano techniques, portato technique, application of techniques with appropriate etudes and works. Pedal and arpeggio exercises with scales and cadences. Playing etudes suitable for the level and national and universal works of different periods. Introducing the sonatine form, playing the sonatinas suitable for the level.
