Sports psychology helps athletes to use the psychology principles necessary for their performance and understands how participation in sports affects the psychological development and well-being of the individual throughout his/her life. |

Course Contents | ||
The field of Sports Psychology includes personality in sports, motivation, arousal, stress and anxiety, psychology of competition and encounter, group and team dynamics, leadership and communication in sports, psychological skill training, attention, perception, focus, processes that negatively affect sports performance, burnout, unhealthy behaviors. It also covers addiction, violence and aggression. | ||
