Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to make students comprehend the population, settlement and economic characteristics of Turkey, and to determine the distribution of Turkey's economic resources with the numerical and social structure of the population in the past, present and future.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Knows general concepts and facts about general human and economic geography. PO-2 Uses information and information resources related to the field effectively.
PO-22 Becomes a qualified instructor; joins the society as a well being social studies teacher, open to innovations, change and development, ready for the world of tomorrow.
Examination
LO-2 Interprets the effects of human factors on economic activities. PO-6 Makes planning, arrangement and evaluation in accordance with educational objectives and student needs in the light of social sciences and findings, theory and practice information related to social studies education produced by social sciences.
PO-10 Has knowledge of the nature, source, limits, accuracy, reliability and validity of information.
Examination
LO-3 Evaluates the relationship between economic activities and development. PO-9 Uses knowledge and skills, which he or she evaluates with a critical approach, to solve the problems he or she encounters in the his or her field and social life as an effective citizen who makes well reasoned decisions.
