Objectives of the Course
The aim of course is the teacher trainees gain adequate knowledge related to methods, skills, materials, micro teaching, outdoor learning at social studies education.

LO-1 Knows the methods used in teaching social studies PO-1 Uses teaching strategies, methods and techniques, assessment and evaluation instruments, taking into account the learning outcomes, by adapting them to student development characteristics, individual differences and needs.

Teaching field-specific skills (change and continuity, perception of time and space, etc.) included in the Social Studies Curriculum; out-of-school learning environments; Practical processing of materials, methods, techniques and activities to be used in Social Studies teaching; characteristics of measurement and evaluation, techniques used in measurement and evaluation; micro teaching applications.
