Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course, Ataturk's Principles and Revolution History-II course aims to enable students to evaluate contemporary Turkey's history during and after Ataturk's period with its political, cultural, social and economic dimensions, and to gain the ideology and historical consciousness of the Republic.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can explain the formation of a participatory democratic system and democratization efforts in Turkey. PO-2 Uses information and information resources related to the field effectively.
PO-9 Uses knowledge and skills, which he or she evaluates with a critical approach, to solve the problems he or she encounters in the his or her field and social life as an effective citizen who makes well reasoned decisions.

Examination
LO-2 Can evaluate the importance of Atatürk's political, social, economic, legal and cultural breakthroughs to bring the Republic of Turkey to the level of contemporary civilization. PO-2 Uses information and information resources related to the field effectively.
PO-7 Acts in accordance with national and universal sensitivities expressed in the Basic Law of National Education, democracy, human rights, social, scientific and professional ethical values.

Course Contents
This course covers the political and social revolutions, the revolutions in the field of education and culture, the revolutions in the field of law, Attempts and reactions to transition to multi-party life in the Ataturk period, Turkey's economic resources and policy in the republican era, Turkish foreign policy in the Ataturk era, Definition, scope and principles of Ataturk's thought system; It covers the issues of Turkey after Ataturk, the ruling years of the Democrat Party, Turkey in the 1960s and 1970s, and Turkey's foreign policy after 1960.
