Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this lecture is to provide students to gain knowledge about nanomaterials and their applications which have beeen developed in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, and learning the structure&function relations in materials. In addition, students are aimed to follow and analyse the current scientific studies in the area of specific nanomaterias of students’ interests by means of a litearture review which will be performed by students. |

PO-3 Students fictions engineering problems, develop methods to solve and apply innovative methods in solution. PO-5 Students are aware of new and emerging practice of the profession, examine them and learn when necessary. PO-7 Students will share their work process and the results in writing or verbally. |

Course Contents | ||
The identification of ‘size’ matters; the development of nanoscience and nanotechnology; nanomaterials and their applications; the effects of size, shape and surface features on function of materials and physical, chemical, thermal, mechanic and biological properties of materials; the material properties that identify the usage capacity of specific outstanding nanomaterials at certain applications. | ||
