Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide information about sociology of religion, sociology of body, secularization and body relation, body intervention and new social movements (such as LGBT) and the Qur'an and hadith.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1	1-will be able to explain the basic concepts of sociology of religion, sociology of body, secularization, body intervention, image, fashion, identity, sexuality, LGBT and close meaning. 2- will be able to explain human body perception, body intervention areas, cultural and social structure of new social movements. 3- Can explain the relationship between religion and body in the light of Quran and	PO-1 Improves himself/herself in interdisciplinary fields that add value to personal change and development within the framework of interest, ability, social sensitivity and volunteering. This course covers the concepts of religion and sociology, the transformations experienced with secularization, the body religion and society relations, the areas of body intervention, new social movements and the view of the Qur'an and hadith on these phenomena
