Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide students with information on children with special needs, the causes, symptoms and treatment methods of disability types that cause special needs, and the application of the inclusion method, which has an important place in the education of special children.

Course Contents
The history of special education in the world and in our country, the purpose and concepts of special education, evaluation in special education, the history and benefits of inclusion method, intellectual disability, special learning disability, language and speech disorder, autism, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical disability. inadequacies, giftedness, classroom management in inclusive practices, individualized education programs, families of children with special needs.
