Objectives of the Course
In order for students to comprehend the foundation and culture of a belief system, it is aimed to be able to read and understand the works written within the framework of that belief.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can read and understand the basic works written within the framework of the Alevi Bektashi belief system. PO-1 Have basic and general knowledge about the field/discipline.
PO-7 Can communicate critically at a professional level by using verbal and written communication opportunities in the related field or with other segments of the society.

LO-2 Gains information about the content and importance of all the basic works written within the framework of the Alevi Bektashi belief system. PO-6 Have a high level of knowledge about the concepts and methods in the field of Alevi Bektashi Culture and can approach the problems in this field in a methodological and analytical way and offer solutions.
PO-10 Learns the main concepts, theories and practices of Alevi Bektashi Culture.

LO-3 By having the opportunity to see and examine Alevi Bektashi manuscripts closely, she/he deepens the level of knowledge about these works. PO-9 Performs compilation, observation and survey studies in the field.
PO-12 Supports the universality of social and cultural rights in the field of humanities, gains awareness of social justice, and protects historical and cultural heritage.
PO-15 He/She develops and deepens the knowledge she has in the field of Alevi Bektashi Culture and related disciplines at the level of expertise.

Course Contents
It includes the subjects of Arabic alphabet used in Ottoman Turkish for reading, analyzing and understanding the manuscripts in the Alevi-Bektashi belief system, spelling of letters, combinations, spelling rules, affixes and word roots.
