Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to examine environmental problems (unhealthy settlements, destruction of the natural environment-air pollution, water pollution, etc.), the effects of these problems on the environment and the conservation policies that can be applied to provide a livable environment, the protection and improvement of the environment and the pursuit of the quality of environmental values.

LO-1 Will be able to explain the basic issues related to environmental problems and policies. PO-1 Gain theoretical and practical compelling knowledge in the field of political science, management science, law, urbanization and environmental struggles.

Course Contents
The content of this course; The emergence of environmental problems, human-environment relationship, system approach to environmental problems, environmental problems caused by industrialization and urbanization, pollution of environmental values, economic dimension of environmental problems, environmental movements, environmental problems in Turkey, environmental protection measures and policies.
