Objectives of the Course |
The aim of this course is to cover the basic theories and concepts of local governments, local government forms in different systems, local government central government relations, local government and democracy, autonomy of local governments and the Local Government Autonomy Charter, values on which local governments are based and urban politics. |

Course Contents |
The content of this course; Concepts of local government and decentralization, types of decentralization, reasons for the existence of local governments, historical, economic and cultural reasons that play a role in the emergence of local governments, local government and autonomy, local government systems, the emergence and development of local governments in Turkey, Turkey Municipalities are also the subjects. |
