Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide students with basic information on digitalization and technology management, to understand the different stages of the technology management process and to explore their relationship with digitalization activities. What causes digital transformation and what their economic, social and cultural bases are will be explained. The course will examine the transformation of technology management and digitalization in the regional innovation system in general and the tourism sector in particular. |

The content of the course is introduction to digitalization, digitalization policy, the theoretical foundations of digitalization, capital for digitalization, concepts and policies within the scope of digitalization, the dynamics of digital transformation within the framework of the Innovation System/Ecosystem in Turkey, the digitalization of the tourism sector and its applications. | ||
