Objectives of the Course | |||||
Explaining mythology in the light of archaeological and written sources, defining major topics in Hellenic mythology and examining the relations of other civilizations with mythologies.It aims to examine how the Near East mythology, Hellenic mythology and Hellenic mythology are reflected in Roman mythology.Examining the relations of these with other cultures and examining the effects of these effects on the Middle Ages and the present are among the other objectives of the course. |

Relations between archeology and mythology Examined. The information is given about the creation of the universe In Theogonia of Hesiodos, and gods and people, and the Trojan Wars and the Greek Pantheon from Homer Ilyada and Oysseia. | ||
