Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to introduce the behavior of reinforced concrete structural elements under different loading conditions.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 gain knowledge about the behavior of reinforced concrete elements under the influence of axial load. PO-1 To be able to reach the theoretical and practical knowledge by doing scientific research in the field of Civil Engineering and to be able to use the obtained knowledge.
PO-2 To be able to carry out studies in the field of Civil Engineering, to be able to select and apply appropriate methods or methods for the purpose.
PO-5 Identifies the needs for solving a problem and develops and implements related processes.
Examination
LO-2 have information about the behavior of reinforced concrete elements under bending effect. PO-1 To be able to reach the theoretical and practical knowledge by doing scientific research in the field of Civil Engineering and to be able to use the obtained knowledge.
PO-2 To be able to carry out studies in the field of Civil Engineering, to be able to select and apply appropriate methods or methods for the purpose.

Course Contents
This course covers the mechanical and behavioral properties of concrete and steel, the behavior of axially loaded members, the behavior of members under bending effect, the behavior of members under shear effect and the behavior of members under torsion effect.
