Objectives of the Course
Ottoman Turkic Arabic script is used to teach. Ottoman Turkish texts to teach reading and writing.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Having knowledge about the Ottoman culture and civilization PO-6 Old Turkish Literature, in verse and prose works in Arabic script reads, explains.
PO-8 The former for the periods of Turkish language in the texts, word analysis, sentence analysis and makes the definition of the word.
PO-9 Makes the literary text analysis.
Examination
LO-2 Knows its place in the general Turkish Ottoman Turkish. PO-6 Old Turkish Literature, in verse and prose works in Arabic script reads, explains.
PO-8 The former for the periods of Turkish language in the texts, word analysis, sentence analysis and makes the definition of the word.
PO-14 Participate in studies related to the field.
Examination
LO-3 Knows the general grammar rules of Ottoman Turkish. PO-6 Old Turkish Literature, in verse and prose works in Arabic script reads, explains.

Course Contents
Arabic alphabet used in Turkic Ottoman, the shapes of letters are typed, and mergers, grammar and spelling rules, and adds the word roots, writing, contains the texts to read and write.
