Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to recognize the important ancient cities in the world and in Turkey and to reveal their importance for the profession of tourist guide with scientific methods.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 can explain the important ancient cities and ruins in Anatolia. PO-6 Understand, analyze and interpret the cultures, history, religions, and the art of the civilisations that have lived in Turkey.
PO-8 Plan, conduct, evaluate and report a study using scientific research methods.
PO-9 Conduct a study on issues which necessitates expertise in the field of tourism both independently and with others.
PO-11 Analyze, critically interpret and evaluate the knowledge and skills they have gained.
