Objectives of the Course
The aim of the early Islamic history course is to teach students about the early period of Islam and its major events, personalities and social changes, starting from the birth of Islam, covering topics such as the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Mecca and Medina periods of Islam, the formation and development of the first Muslim society and the period of the Four Caliphs. This course aims to enable students to understand the basic teachings of Islam, its historical processes and their impact on the Islamic world today.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 The Early Islamic History course can explain to students the birth and early history of Islam, important events, personalities and the early history of Islam. PO-4 History and arts of Islam uses research methods and techniques applied in the field, has theoretical and practical knowledge.

LO-2 To have knowledge about the birth of Islam, the life of Prophet Muhammad, the Mecca and Medina periods of Islam. PO-4 History and arts of Islam uses research methods and techniques applied in the field, has theoretical and practical knowledge.

LO-3 To learn the political, social and religious developments in the period of the Four Caliphs (Hz. Ebubekir, Hz. Ömer, Hz. Osman, Hz. Ali). PO-2 History and arts of Islam understands the interdisciplinary interaction related to the field and conducts joint studies with different disciplines.
