Objectives of the Course
This course aims to gain awareness about the position of Islamic civilization in world history and the healthy periodization of Islamic history.temporal-spatial changes / transformations.

Learning Outcomes PO MME
The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Have knowledge about the history of Islamic institutions PO-3 Uses the resources in the History and arts of Islam field effectively based on undergraduate level qualifications.

LO-2 Have knowledge about the functioning of Islamic institutions. PO-5 History and arts of Islam interpret, analyze and create new information by integrating the knowledge acquired in the field with information from different disciplinary fields.

Course Contents
This course covers the position of Islamic civilization in world history, the debates around the periodization of Islamic history and the major cultural basins as well as the temporal-spatial changes/transformations of political, administrative/bureaucratic, judicial, social and scientific institutions that emerged in Islamic history.
