Objectives of the Course | |||||
Students who take the Islamic Civilization and History course in the field of Islamic History and Arts are expected to learn the dictionary and theoretical meanings of the concepts of Islamic Civilization with this course and to create new ideas and works on Islamic Civilization and history within the framework of these concepts. With this course, students will be able to learn the sources, basic qualities and material and spiritual elements of Islamic civilization. Basically, it is aimed that the student researches the subjects and evaluates the results and provides an understanding of the subject. With this course, it is aimed that students will acquire the ability to think and discuss effectively by specializing in Islamic civilization in particular and the nature of civilization in general. |

Course Contents | ||
The concept of Islamic civilization, the sources of Islamic civilization, the basic institutions of Islamic civilization such as caliphate, vizierate, army, city and urbanism in Islamic societies, places of worship in Islamic societies, commercial life, sciences, etc. will be discussed. | ||
