Objectives of the Course
This course points to a strong structure and a stable period in the field of Turkish-Islamic literature and its language, Turkish-Islamic civilization. Knowing this period aims to follow the footsteps of art in general and literature in particular, which is an important means of cultural transfer in Islamic civilization.

The students who succeeded in this course:
LO-1 Can easily read and criticize a work of Turkish-Islamic literature. PO-1 History and arts of Islam develops and deepens his/her knowledge in the same or a different field at the level of expertise based on undergraduate level qualifications in the field.
PO-2 History and arts of Islam understands the interdisciplinary interaction related to the field and conducts joint studies with different disciplines.
PO-7 History and arts of Islam to be able to independently carry out a study that requires specialization in the field.
Examination
LO-2 Can determine the period of works related to Turkish-Islamic literature based on their language. PO-1 History and arts of Islam develops and deepens his/her knowledge in the same or a different field at the level of expertise based on undergraduate level qualifications in the field.

Course Contents
This course includes Divan, Folk and Modern literary works from the period when the first works in Turkish were published, the Karakhanid period, the Ghaznavids, the Seljuk period and the Ottoman period.
