Objectives of the Course | |||||
The aim of this course is to provide information and skills on what techniques can be used to write accompaniments for existing melodies and the playing techniques for ready-written accompaniments. |

LO-1 | Can play previously written accompaniments correctly |
PO-2 Are familiar with the formation and harmonization of scales, accompanying chords, cadences, secondary dominants, creating chords of triphonic and quadraphonic sounds, modal change chords and tension sounds. PO-3 Have a basic knowledge of measurement systems, musical signs, arrays and intervals and tonality etc.They are also familiar with the basic rules, techniques and terms of music, able to read musical notes and write what they hear in musical notes. PO-5 Can perform basic pieces of music that belong to various periods and require different techniques accompanied by musical instruments and sounds. |

LO-2 | Can write accompaniment to a monophonic melody using basic chords, while determining the tonality. |
PO-1 Students who successfully complete the Master of Performing Arts program will be familiar with high-level concepts related to their program. PO-3 Have a basic knowledge of measurement systems, musical signs, arrays and intervals and tonality etc.They are also familiar with the basic rules, techniques and terms of music, able to read musical notes and write what they hear in musical notes. PO-5 Can perform basic pieces of music that belong to various periods and require different techniques accompanied by musical instruments and sounds. |
