| Course Contents |
| This course includes the ethical values and standards related to scientific research and publication ethics; core principles such as accuracy, impartiality, and transparency; ethical theories including deontological, teleological, and virtue ethics; key research ethics principles such as non-maleficence, justice, honesty, and respect; ethical responsibilities in research design and protection of participants' rights; ensuring confidentiality, security, and avoidance of bias or manipulation during data collection and analysis; publication ethics topics such as plagiarism, authorship, peer review, and compliance with academic writing standards; the functioning of ethics committees and approval processes; types and consequences of ethical violations; ethical frameworks such as the Declaration of Helsinki, the Belmont Report, and national regulations; and finally, case studies and ethical problem-solving methods aimed at developing practical skills in identifying and resolving ethical issues in research and publication processes.
